After having an...interesting conversation with Princey, Ojiji, and Messiah-chan, it has come to my attention that not enough people know about the fascinating cuisine that belongs to all of these places we are traveling to...Not enough people are willing to go out and take a bite of what they aren't already familiar with......And that....saddens me. Isn't it part of our job while we are traveling to all of these different countries, to learn about their cultures and understand how they live~~? And one of the best ways to do that is through the food that they eat...The culinary things you try are more likely to last with you and your taste buds, and thus your brain, than the regurgitated facts that some tour guide is telling you.....I mean, seriously. We just went to the Elephanta Caves the other day, but how many of you actually remember what the tour guide was saying...?
...As such, to the Hippie sensei who is supposedly in charge of our learning process, I suggest we all go out together as a group to a local restaurant in each country and try some of the local food~~! It'll be fun and educational~~! And if someone has a suggestion for something in particular that they want to try, they can offer to pick what we try when we get to the country in question~~ ......That said, I call dibs on choosing for Russia~~!

I'm still questioning how the hell I ended up in the Singles 1 spot...Not that it matters, because South Africa's best are rather...slow. It felt like I was playing Rokkaku and Loser-kun all over again~~! But for some reason, I feel the need to rub the fact that I got the spot in the Mushroom's face~~ Because he didn't even get to play with us this time around~~ What a loser~~
But there seems to be a theme going on with these matches, for the most part...Keeping teammates together for each day...Well, most of them, anyhow. I told Keigo about it, but I figured I'd go ahead and advertise it here as well for anyone else who may be interested....On January 2nd, my family shall be making our annual visit to my father's grave as is part of the New Year's tradition.....However, it'll be far from the traditional way of things. Because when we visit his grave...we throw a party. A luau~~ Toutou-san grew up in Hawaii, where celebrating life and the joys it brings is what matters most...He wouldn't be happy with us if we simply visited his grave to give him some flowers and wash his grave stone while crying about how cruel the world is....So instead we will dance and sing and drink ourselves silly for him and all of his neighbors' spirits~~
...But what's a party without lots of people~~? So I'm inviting anyone who might be interested in going to a party that can "wake the dead" to come join me and my family and friends.....Keigo will be taking a helicopter, or maybe even a jet, from Tokyo to fly down here for the occasion...Anyone who wants to come can catch a ride down with him and will be flown back in the morning.....Yes, that means I'll gladly play host for anyone who comes down...If we get overcrowded, Rin will let people stay at his place also...

Normally, right about now I'd start getting hyped up to go home. It's a week before a break starts and after a few tests, we'd get to go home for a while...

And Nozomi...usually likes whatever the hell Mineko is into...but I don't know what the hell she likes anymore either!

Hmmm...Been a busy week~~

Between catering to a still obnoxiously bed ridden Keigo...Who I'm sure is delighted knowing he can finally get out of the bed this week...And bumping into a kouhai who was in need of some help on a train....To spending the weekend helping Smiles with a malicious spirit problem in a real haunted house, and tagging along with Mumbles to pretty much the only club I can consider as actually decent and watching while he attempted to convince the hissing guy from Seigaku that he needs to lighten up...Which was funny because I don't think it worked very well~~
Spent most of Sunday preoccupied with bujutsu training and work, though...We got some new types of plants and flowers in from the western region of Africa that I get the feeling are going to be fun to have around.......Hnnnn~~ And coincidentally, I think it's time to replace the azaleas out in the front of Hyoutei's schoolgrounds...Maybe I'll replace them with some of the more...interesting bushes that came in~~ Keigo will probably throw a fit when he comes back and sees them in the yard, but I like to think they'll add personality to the school~~

Oh, speaking of work...Mumbles...? You still interested in a job...? I spoke to a few people and found a place I think you'll like~~ Gotta friend who's a tattoo artist and needs a helping hand around his shop...You want it...? He pays well~~ And he'll probably teach you a few things about the trade...

I promised his mother that I would bring him back and I am going to keep that promise...
I'm sure we're going to have to fight his kidnappers to take him back, but in all honesty, I'll be all too happy to do so. ...But when the car was driving away, I threw a number of eggs at it....Anyone who's egged a car or knows someone who was a victim of an egging knows that if you leave egg sitting on a car for long enough, it's going to be impossible to get off....So we are possibly looking for a black Mercedes with a number of eggs fried into its paint job or a seriously fucked up paint job from when they tried to remove them.

We tend to go overboard when there's any kind of reunion among those of us from Higa...Not to mention, we had some help from Muromachi and Mumbles and a few others...So I don't think there was much left of Princey's supply by the time we all left this morning....And that's taking into account the fact that we all brought our own stashes along as well....Heh~~ Makes me wonder how many others are also feeling like their head is exploding right about now...
